James and Jacinta Muthee
Meet James and Jacinta, an inspiring and dedicated family committed to serving their community through faith and leadership. Pastor James, the team leader, also passionately shepherds SouthCoast Community Church. Jacinta, his devoted wife, is a remarkable supporter, providing strength and encouragement every step of the way. Together, James and Jacinta have been loyal members of the SERVE Kenya team for over a decade, demonstrating their deep commitment to the ministry of Jesus Christ. Their lasting partnership and dedication make them truly exemplary figures in our community
Mitch and Beth Calmes
Meet Mitch and his wife Beth. They have been faithfully serving as missionaries in East Africa for 30 years. Based in Tanzania for 25 years, they led a thriving church in Dar es Salaam and launched several impactful community ministries benefiting marginalized children and young women. Pastor Mitch serves as the director of the BTCP program and is passionate about training and equipping pastors in both Kenya and Tanzania. Beth loves to mentor women through her church and through KUJUA ministries for women. Mitch has an MA from Liberty University.


Jason and Heather Wilkins
Meet Jason and Heather, dedicated missionaries passionate about making a difference in their community through discipleship. They are the newest members of the team, bringing fresh energy and commitment. Jason is particularly focused on expanding the BTCP program in the Central and East Africa region, teaching the BTCP (Bible Training Center for Pastors) program, and mentoring church leaders to strengthen the spiritual foundations of local churches and empower leaders to serve effectively.
Richard and Mildred Mutua
Meet Richard and Mildred, dedicated servants of the Lord for many years. Pastor Richard leads SouthCoast Community Church – Mbegani, while Mildred works alongside him, ministering to women. Pastor Richard oversees the BTCP program in the coastal region of Kenya, strengthening and recruiting partners and teachers


Edwin Ojodo
Meet Edwin Ojodo, a committed gospel minister. Edwin is also a gifted and experienced servant who serves as our BTCP program coordinator for Nairobi and the surrounding areas. Edwin holds a Master’s of Divinity from Samford University, Beeson Divinity School.
